Bible Verse of the day When the Flesh is Crucified

By Pastor Roy Agoya

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control.” — Galatians 5:22–23.

When the flesh is crucified, fruit begins to grow. Notice Scripture says fruit—not fruits. It is one life in the Spirit producing many expressions of Christ’s character.

  1. Love – Choosing sacrificial care over selfish ambition.
  2. Joy – Deep inner gladness not dependent on circumstances.
  3. Peace – Stability of heart even in pressure.
  4. Patience – Endurance without irritation.
  5. Kindness – Active compassion in words and actions.
  6. Goodness – Moral integrity that reflects God’s nature.
  7. Faithfulness – Steadfast loyalty and reliability.
  8. Gentleness – Strength under control.
  9. Self-control – Mastery over desires, impulses, and reactions.
Fruit does not grow overnight. It grows through abiding. Jesus said a branch must remain in the vine to bear fruit. When we walk in the Spirit daily—through prayer, obedience, reverence, and surrender—these qualities become natural, not forced.
The flesh produces reactions. The Spirit produces fruit.
    So ask yourself:
Is my life marked by pressure or by peace?
    By impulse or by self-control?
    By irritation or by patience?
You don’t strain to produce fruit—you stay connected to the Source.

Crucify the flesh. Abide in the Spirit. And let the evidence speak for itself.
