Death Announcement

The family of the late Mwalimu Benard Okaro Ogina regrets to announce his passing. He took his last breath on Sunday at 2:45 a.m.

The late Mwalimu Ogina was the son of the late Samson and Philora Ogina of Sirikhaya Village, Bujumba, in Busia County.

He was the beloved husband to Risper Obanda and a devoted father to George Okaro (Member, DNK-International), Mildred, Canan, Deborah, Oliver, Samson Ogina, Emanuel Wanzala, and Martin Osama (Member, DNK-International).

He was also a father-in-law to Teresa Juma, Amos Shamala, Caroline Juma, Richard Mwangi, Nydeje, and Ashyline Oundo.

During his lifetime, Mwalimu Ogina served as a dedicated teacher in several schools including Chekulo Primary School in Bungoma, Bujumba, Bubango, Igula, Bumutiru, Lugulu,Murende, and Dadira Primary Schools (Busia county) where he mentored and educated many pupils.

Family and friends are currently holding meetings at his Sirikhaya home as they make burial arrangements. Further details will be communicated in due course.
