Drone Kills M23 Spokesman

Lt.Col.Willy Ngoma, a prominent figure with the M23 rebel group has been killed in North Kivu following a drone strike.
He was the group spokesperson.

Ngoma was widely known as one of the most visible faces of M23 and had recently officiated the graduation of approximately 7,000 fighters in the region.

During that event, he publicly challenged the Congolese army.

He was also reported to have played a key role in leading M23 fighters during the takeover of Goma.

Authorities have yet to release comprehensive official details regarding the incident.
