Eye on Uganda Polls:Museveni Rallies Busoga NRM Leaders Ahead of January Polls.

President Yoweri Museveni, the NRM Presidential Flagbearer,today held an interactive meeting with party leaders from the Busoga sub region in Iganga.

He urged them to intensify grassroots mobilization ahead of the January 15 general election.

Addressing the leaders, President Museveni emphasized their responsibility in sensitizing wananchi on the National Resistance Movement’s key contributions to Uganda’s governance and development, citing stability, infrastructure growth, and service delivery as pillars of the party’s record.

He further called on voters across Busoga to turn out in large numbers and cast their ballots for NRM candidates at all levels, stressing that a strong mandate would enable the party to consolidate gains and accelerate socio-economic transformation.

The meeting forms part of the NRM’s final push to consolidate regional support as the country heads into the decisive phase of the electoral calendar.
