A woman has been raped in turns by two men near Kirigiti stadium in Kiambu county.
The woman in a report she made at Kiambu Police Station reported that the ordeal began at around 9:30 p.m yesterday while she was on her way to Kirigiti.
She recounted that she encountered two men who pretended to ask for directions.
Moments later, one of them tapped her on the shoulder, after which she lost consciousness.
She later regained awareness in a stream area behind Kirigiti Stadium, where the two assailants were assaulting her.
The attackers fled into a nearby bush after the incident, leaving the victim stranded.
She managed to find her way out and was assisted by a good Samaritan, who helped contact her aunt.
The matter was subsequently reported to police, and the victim was escorted to Kiambu Level 5 Hospital for medical attention.
Officers from Kiambu Police Station visited the scene and have launched investigations into the incident.
