Iran’s Ambassador to Kenya Says Ayatollah Ali Khamenei Was Martyred in Recent Attacks

Iranian Ambassador to Kenya Dr Ali Gholampur has said that the killing of the country spiritual leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei was a martyr to him.

He said that 85 million Iranians were mourning the death of their spiritual following airstrikes by the US and Israel on Saturday that has also claimed lives of several people.
“They launched a cowardly and coordinated military aggression against our homeland,”said the Ambassador.
He added that the warplanes violated the territorial integrity of the Islamic republic of Iran striking defensive infrastructure and non military facilities in several of Iran cities.
He added that the airstrikes by US and Israel which began on Friday night and during Ramadhan period showed that the two nations had no respect for sanctity,no law and no human value.

“And what makes this betrayal even more bitter is this attack occurred precisely at a time when the Islamic Republic of Iran was actively and genuinely engaged in a diplomatic process with the United States,”The Ambassador added.

Dr Gholampur went on to say that the US and Israel they shall bear the full and direct responsibility for all ensuing consequences adding that the two nations have opened the “door” that they cannot close.

To the nations of the region,Islamic world and to the members of Non aligned movement and to other nations committed to international peace,the Ambassador said that this was their fight as of Iran and if its not stopped and condemned it will also meet them.

“This is a patriotic war that was imposed on us,we did not seek this war.
The world will witness once again what the Iranian nation is capable of when its dignity,its sovereignty and its leaders are attacked,”the Ambassador uttered.
