The Mau Mau War Veterans Association has appealed to well-wishers and the public for financial assistance to help bury one of its members, the late General Njora Muronjo Kiambati, also known as General Njoro Muronjo Kiambati, from Ngorika in Nyandarua County.
According to the association’s Director, James Mahuria, the deceased was a distinguished freedom fighter who played a significant role in Kenya’s struggle for independence.
“He was among the brave patriots who took up arms against British colonial rule in the 1950s and endured detention, displacement, and immense hardship in pursuit of freedom for our nation,” said Mahuria.
Mahuria added that the late General Kiambati’s courage and sacrifice remain a source of pride and inspiration to many generations of Kenyans.
The association is now seeking support to accord the fallen freedom fighter a befitting and dignified send-off worthy of a national hero and patriot.
