DNK International The Minister of Finance of the Abyei Administrative Area, Hon. Ajak Deng Miyan, on Friday officially concluded a five-day specialized training workshop on Strategic Cash Management and Advanced Excel Modeling, held at the Ministry of Finance hall in Abyei Town.
The intensive workshop brought together staff of the Ministry of Finance with the aim of strengthening technical skills in modern financial management and analytical modeling. Speaking during the closing ceremony, Minister Miyan underscored the significance of the training in enhancing institutional capacity and improving overall financial performance within the Administrative Area.
He noted that although the Ministry committed substantial financial resources to organize the high-level training, the investment was justified in the interest of public service delivery and long-term financial efficiency.
“Our staff deserve this level of capacity building, as it directly contributes to better management of public resources,” the Minister stated.
Minister Miyan expressed his appreciation to the lead facilitator, Mr. George Kairu Magutu, for delivering practical and valuable expertise throughout the sessions.
He further assured participants that the Ministry remains committed to organizing additional training programs in the near future to keep staff abreast of evolving financial and administrative practices.
The Minister also encouraged participants to take personal responsibility in applying the knowledge and skills acquired during the workshop, stressing the importance of adapting to global technological advancements in financial management.
The event concluded with the presentation of certificates of completion to the participants, marking the successful conclusion of the training conducted in collaboration with EuroAfrique Corporate Skills.
