MURANGA HIGH SCHOOL CELEBRATES TOP CANDIDATE

The Kenya National Examinations Council has begun the release of provisional results for the 2025 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education examination, marking a critical juncture for hundreds of thousands of candidates across the country.

The results, accessible through a dedicated online portal, come with a strengthened emphasis on data privacy, requiring users to confirm their authorised status before proceeding. Candidates can now view their individual mean grades and subject-specific performances, which will form the basis for university placement and career decisions.

The release follows the conclusion of the national examinations held late last year. The provisional results slip displays the candidate’s registered name, index number, school, and a detailed breakdown of grades for each subject sat. The online system is designed for direct access by candidates, their parents or legal guardians, and authorised school officials, streamlining the dissemination process that was historically more centralised through schools.

The spotlight in Muranga County fell on Ryan Karanja Muiru of Muranga High School, whose outstanding and well-rounded performance is being hailed as a model of academic dedication and strategic focus.

Muiru, who achieved a formidable overall mean grade of A- (Minus), did not merely excel in a single cluster but demonstrated exceptional proficiency across both the sciences and humanities. His detailed results slip reveals top-tier grades in Chemistry, History and Government, and Kiswahili, a combination that educators say underscores the value of a holistic education.
