Police in Kerio Valley have arrested a National Police Reservist (NPR) officer in connection with the defilement of a 12 year-old girl.
According to a report recorded at Tot Police Station on Sunday at 7:30 p.m., the suspect—identified as Angoris Kangogo, alias Costa was arrested on February 1, 2026, while police were acting on a defilement complaint initially filed on January 25, 2026.
The suspect is an NPR officer stationed at Kolowa Location in Tiaty West, Baringo County.
Investigators allege that he committed the offence against a minor from Kibiriem Location, Sagat Sub-Location, Tot Division, within Kerio Valley Sub-County.
Police confirmed that the suspect is currently being held in custody at Tot Police Station and is expected to be arraigned before court.
