DNK International The dream of Makadara MP George Aladwa to vie for the Nairobi Governor seat in 2027 appears to be gaining momentum after individuals close to ODM leader Oburu Oginga indicated that the party ticket could be handed to him.
The latest development has reportedly unsettled Kasarani MP Ronald Karauri, who had also declared interest in the seat.
Karauri recently made headlines after promising to give Sh10 million to a blogger who allegedly claimed to possess a disturbing video recording of him and dared the blogger to release it publicly with evidence.
He had previously shown signs of considering Aladwa as a possible running mate, but he has since formally announced his bid for the gubernatorial position.
