Owalo considering Kuria as a running mate

Presidential hopeful and immediate former Deputy Chief of Staff in charge of Delivery, Eliud Owalo, is reportedly considering former Cabinet colleague Moses Kuria as his preferred running mate.

Both are seasoned political operators and strategists.

Owalo previously managed the late ODM leader Raila Odinga’s presidential campaign in 2013, while Kuria has been a key strategist in multiple winning campaigns serving under former President Mwai Kibaki ahead of the 2007 General Election, and later for Uhuru Kenyatta in 2013 and 2017, as well as President William Ruto in the 2022 polls.

Kuria had previously expressed interest for Nairobi City gubernatorial seat.
