Relief as missing Eastleigh businessman is found safe, family Withdraws Case

By Our Reporter,Nairobi.

The family of Eastleigh businessman Abdi Aidid Ali has withdrawn a case they had filed against the State following his safe return after a reported disappearance.

Through their lawyer, Mwaura Wakabata, the family informed a Milimani court that Ali had been found and was in good condition, eliminating the need to pursue the matter further.

The court subsequently allowed the application to withdraw the petition, formally bringing the case to a close.

The case had been filed after Ali was allegedly abducted by masked individuals suspected to be security officers along Mohammed Yusuf Haji Avenue in Nairobi’s Eastleigh area.

No further details were immediately provided regarding the circumstances of his disappearance or recovery.
