DNK International Heavy rains accompanied by strong winds have caused damage at the police lines in Emurua Dikirr, Transmara East, Narok County.
This was after several trees and an electricity pole collapsed.
The storm according to police brought down eight tall eucalyptus trees and one electric pole within the police lines.
Police added that the fallen trees and pole extensively damaged four houses occupied by police officers.
Despite the destruction to the houses, no injuries were reported among the police officers or their families.
Authorities are expected to assess the damage and arrange for necessary repairs as the area continues to experience heavy rains.
The incident highlights the risks posed by extreme weather conditions currently being experienced in several parts of the country.
