A case of school breaking and stealing has been reported at Sambuli Primary School in Kabras West, Kakamega County.
According to a report filed at the newly opened Imbiakalo Police Station, yesterday evening,the incident was reported on Tuesday evening by the school’s headteacher. Juliet Azaliza.
Azaliza stated that she securely locked her office at around 4:00pm on Monday, February before leaving the school.
However, upon reporting back to school on Tuesday afternoon, she discovered that unknown person(s) had broken into her office during the night by accessing it through the roof.
Upon checking the office, she established that 54 government issued tablets, of unknown value, had been stolen.
Police officers visited the scene, which was processed and documented for investigations.
Officers from Sambiri Police Post and Imbiakalo Police Station are handling the investigations as efforts continue to trace the suspects and recover the stolen items.
