Voiceless Corner:Global Fund employees complains over 21 months salary non payment

“I’m MMMM, an employee under the Global Fund–Ministry of Health TB program.
We are currently facing a standing dispute with the Ministry of Health due to its failure to comply with the agreement executed with the Global Fund and the National Treasury regarding the transition of HRH staff working under the TB program.
As a result, we have now gone 21 months without salary or medical cover. This prolonged neglect has caused severe hardship for staff and threatens the delivery of critical TB services in the country.
We are seeking urgent intervention to resolve this issue, ensure the Ministry honours its commitments, and restore salaries and medical coverage for affected employees”
