Police officers serving in South Sudan back home

Kenyan Police officers who served under the United Nations Mission in South Sudan have returned home after an 18-month deployment.

During a courtesy call on the Deputy Inspector General of Police, Eliud Lagat in his office today,he commended the officers for their professionalism, dedication and exemplary service.

The DIG said their role in upholding the reputation of the Kenya Police Service and contributing to regional peace, was exemplary.

The officers returned in the country yesterday.
