Homa Bay Woman Representative Joyce Atieno Bensuda Osogo, popularly known simply as Bensouda, has steadily emerged as one of the most recognisable and outspoken female politicians in Luo Nyanza.
Through grassroots mobilisation, vocal parliamentary debates and a strong presence in community development, she has built a reputation as a leader who is rarely absent from the political conversation in Homa Bay County.
Bensouda, succeeded current Homa Bay Governor Gladys Wanga as the county’s Woman Representative following the 2022 General Election.
