Uninvited Guests Repulsed at Ex MP Kilonzo Home

An incident was reported at the Zombe home of former Kitui South MP and aspirant in 2027 Kiema Kilonzo after a group of uninvited guests allegedly attempted to force their way into his compound while he was hosting pastors and members of a church group.

According to a police incident report recorded at Zombe Police Station, the incident occurred on Friday evening at around 7.30pm.

The report indicates that four vehicles arrived at the compound from Kitui town and attempted to gain entry.

They were identified as a Toyota Prado registration number KDV 111R, a Nissan matatu KDV 846U, a Nissan matatu KCS 290Q and a Maco Sacco matatu KCW 364X.

The occupants, described in the report as uninvited guests, allegedly triggered an altercation at the main entrance of Kilonzo’s compound.

They were reportedly repulsed by his supporters before retreating to their vehicles and driving away.

Police officers rushed to the scene and contained the situation, with no injuries reported on either side.

One Skygo motorcycle, registration number KMDM 605E, was recovered and taken to Zombe Police Station as an exhibit.

Police also detained the Toyota Prado, which had reportedly sustained damage to its rear windscreen, right front window and left side mirror.

The circumstances surrounding the confrontation remain under investigation, with the case listed as pending investigations (PUI).

The Sub-County Criminal Investigations Officer (SCCIO), Zombe, is handling the matter.
