DNK International The Chief of Defence Forces General Muhoozi Kainerugaba has made the following transfers and appointments of General Officers:
Major General Joseph Ssemwanga is transferred from his position of Deputy Commander Land Forces and appointed the General Officer Commanding of the Reserve Forces. He replaces Lt General Charles Otema Awany who is due for retirement next week.
The 4 Infantry Division Commander Maj General Felix Busizoori is appointed the Deputy Commander of the Land Forces.
The 3 Infantry Division Commander Maj General Wilberforce Sserunkuma is appointed the 4 Infantry Division Commander.
The Deputy 1 Infantry Division Commander Brig Gen Micheal Hyeroba is appointed the 3 Infantry Division Commander.
The transfers and appointments take immediate effect.
