KeNHA has directed all roadside traders along Thika Superhighway to vacate in a week’s time

The State authority says the eviction is unavoidable as it begins the construction of designated bus bays along various sections of the highway.

According to KeNHA, the construction of designated bus bays will reduce traffic congestion, which has been a nightmare for motorists and commuters along the busy highway.

“Traders must clear their wares from the road reserve within seven days of this notice,” the authority said.-[DNK-International@February 10,2026]
