Fireside partners with police to construct administration block at Kingeero police station

In a significant boost to local security infrastructure, Kabete Sub-County Police Commander Peter Kimotho accompanied by the Fireside Group Chief Executive Officer, Rebecca Wanjiku, officially commissioned a new administration block at King’eero Police Station on Friday.

The modern facility, which houses the Deputy OCS, Anti-Crime, and Petty Crime offices, was constructed through a partnership with Fireside Group Engineering Solutions, a technology and infrastructure company specialising in telecommunications, electrical engineering, renewable energy, and enterprise support services.

The new block is designed to streamline operations and improve the working environment for officers, directly impacting service delivery for the King’eero community.

During the ceremony, the Sub – County Police Commander praised the initiative as a “pillar of a safe and civilized society,” thanking Fireside Group for its contribution to public welfare.

Fireside Group CEO Wanjiku on her part, underscored that the project stems from a commitment to responsible corporate citizenship.

She noted that when private entities and public institutions collaborate, it fosters trust and improves institutional accountability.

This project stands as a testament to the power of community focused investment, ensuring that law enforcement has the necessary tools and environment to serve the public effectively.

Present at the launch ceremony were the King’eero OCS Francis Mberia, Muguga OCS Samwel Khaemba,Uthiru OCS, Isaac Simotwo, King’eero Base Commander Esther Chebii, Staffing officer at Kabete police station Joseph Waithaka and a colleague Chief Inspector Stanley Mbuvi.

Fireside representatives present included the Company Senior Manager, Martha Njuguna, and the Technical Director, Joseph Kamau.
