Moses Adala, an aspiring MP for Westlands in 2027 on Saturday joined residents in a tree planting exercise at Kangemi Primary School to mark Mazingira Day.

The exercise was sponsored by the Kenya Comprehensive Schools Headteachers Association (KECSHA) and brought together community members in a collective effort to promote environmental conservation.

The initiative according to Adala highlighted the importance of tree planting in combating climate change, protecting the environment and creating a cleaner, greener and more sustainable future for generations to come.

The participation of residents underscored the role of community involvement in environmental protection, with the exercise serving as a reminder that safeguarding the planet requires collective responsibility.
“Every tree planted represents a step towards a healthier environment, improved ecological balance and a more sustainable future for the community,”said Adala.
