Sh2.34m stolen from parked car at Naiberi petrol station

A woman lost Sh2,342,800 after her Toyota Fielder was broken into at a petrol station in Naiberi, Uasin Gishu County.

Police said Rahima Gachoki reported that she had withdrawn the money at about 4.30pm on Friday.

She reportedly left the cash inside the vehicle and went to a nearby restaurant for supper.

Upon returning, she discovered that the vehicle had been broken into and the entire amount stolen.

Gachoki was accompanied by Kevin Matundura when she made the report.

DCIO Ainabkoi, Naiberi police and a team of officers visited the scene but no arrest or recovery was made.
