Detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations have launched investigations into an attack on Vihiga Senator Godfrey Osotsi at Java House – West End Mall,Kisumu.
In a statement, the DCI strongly condemned the brazen incident, describing it as both cowardly and unacceptable.
Today’s attack has sent shockwaves across the political landscape and has raised concerns over the safety of politicians as the country approaches campaign period for next year polls.
Osotsi has been ailrlifted to Nairobi for medical attention.
