Clinical Officer Found Dead at Kahawa West Home

A clinical officer was in the wee hours of Tuesday found dead at his residence in Kamae, Kahawa West.

According to a report filed at Kahawa West Police Station, the incident was reported by the caretaker of a residential apartment after he discovered the tenant unresponsive at the building’s balcony.

Police officers from Kahawa West Police Station, accompanied by detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), visited the scene and found the deceased, identified as Dennis Ng’ang’a, with indications that he had died by hanging himself.

Investigators established that he worked as a clinical officer at Mukasa Medical Centre.

The scene was processed and documented before the body was transferred to Nairobi City Mortuary, where a post mortem examination will be conducted to establish the cause of death.

Detectives from DCI Kasarani have launched investigations into the incident.
