People’s Voice:KPLC on the spot over hanging wires

Residents of Kawangware, Nairobi, have raised concerns over fallen electricity poles and hanging power lines along the road between Mlango Soko and Shugo Ine.

According to a concerned resident, Kenya Power was notified about the situation earlier in the morning but had not arrived to address the problem by the time of reporting.

The resident said some of the electricity poles had fallen, leaving power lines hanging dangerously across the road, posing a potential risk to pedestrians and motorists.

The affected area is around Seniors and Faulu Bank in Kawangware.

Residents are calling on Kenya Power to urgently respond and secure the area to prevent possible accidents or injuries.
