Bandari Football Club Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Tony Kibwana has confirmed that they have settled on former club technical bench coach Bernard Mwalala.
Mwalala who has been assistant coach for league contenders Glamour Boys makes a comeback to his former club.
He confirmed his coming back to his former club at end of their last weekend league fixture against Kakamega Homeboyz played at Mbaraki Sports Club in Mombasa county.
He had left the club in 2020 to join KCB and later moved to the Glamour Boys.
Mwalala had also perviously served at Nzoia Sugar Football Club.
He will take over from club acting coach who is also national goal keeper trainer Razar Ziwa who took over from foreign technical coach, Moroccan Mohamed Borji and his deputy Tarik Bendamou, who were shown the door.
During Razar’s tenure, out of the four matches he had handled, he lost none as two were barren draws and he recorded two wins.
The Dockers’ new technical coach’s assignment will be an away clash against Tusker FC who were wounded 4-0 by Sportpesa league leaders AFC Leopards referred to as Ingwe who maintained their top position in the summit table.
The Dockers’ fans wonder whether the new coach will keep the momentum Razar’s had began with.
