Stranded Kisumu Students Safely Taken to School After Police Intervention.

Police in Kisumu have successfully resolved an incident involving stranded Grade 10 students after swift intervention by the Kondele Police Station, working closely with parents, local administrators and school authorities.

According to a follow up report,OCS Kondele, in collaboration with members of the National Government Administration Officers (NGAO) and parents, facilitated the verification and safe taking of the learners to St. Alberts Chiepe Secondary School in Homa Bay County.

The students were thoroughly interviewed at the police station, with officers confirming that no foul play was involved.

After the assessment, the learners were released to travel back to school together with their belongings aboard a Toyota Nissan matatu.

The journey was conducted smoothly, and the students left the station without any complaints.

School principal Richard Oduor was formally notified of the development and instructed to confirm once all the learners arrive safely at the school.

The incident highlights effective coordination between security agencies, parents and education stakeholders in safeguarding the welfare of learners.
