Ruto Chairs UDA Party National Governing Council Meeting

President William Samoei Ruto, at State House, Nairobi toda chaired the first UDA National Governing Council meeting of 2026, alongside Deputy Party Leader Prof. Kithure Kindiki and PCS Musalia Mudavadi.

The meeting among other things took firm stock of the Kenya Kwanza PLAN, anchored in the 2022 UDA manifesto, and sharpened its focus on implementation, accelerating reforms across key sectors to drive business and investment, create jobs, expand affordable healthcare, deliver decent housing, strengthen education, scale access to clean water, modern infrastructure, and secure food systems for all Kenyans.

The President rallied the leadership to move faster, act bolder, and stay focused on results, reinforcing a clear path toward a future of stability, opportunity, and real progress for every Kenyan.
