School Owner’s Vehicle Stolen from Compound in Sigomere

Police in Ugunja,Siaya County, have launched investigations following the theft of a motor vehicle from a private school compound in Sigomere.

According to a report filed at Sigomere Police Station today at 7.00am, the incident was reported by Mildred Achieng Aoko, the proprietor of Crown Hill Academy in Sigomere.

Aoko told police that she had parked her motor vehicle, a grey Toyota Ramex within her compound on the night of January 25.

However, when she woke up at around 6.00am to prepare for the routine school transport of pupils, she discovered that the vehicle was missing from the parking bay.

Efforts to trace the vehicle immediately after the discovery were unsuccessful.

Police have circulated the vehicle’s details to all stations and appealed to members of the public to report any sightings to the nearest police station as investigations continue.
