DNK International The Administration Police Service (APS) on Tuesday received a major boost to its sports development agenda following a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) donation by Harambee DT Sacco aimed at strengthening officer welfare and teamwork through sports.
The Principal Deputy to the Deputy Inspector General,Administration Police Service (DIG-APS), Dr. Masoud Mwinyi, on behalf of the DIG-APS Gilbert Masengeli received a courtesy visit from Harambee DT Sacco officials at Jogoo House.
The Sacco delegation was led by the Chief Executive Officer, Dr. George Ochiri, and included Fridah Njeru, Head of Business Development & Marketing, alongside Antony Mutimba, Branch Chairman, Jogoo House ‘A’.
During the visit, Harambee DT Sacco donated volleyball nets, whistles, and balls to support and facilitate the Administration Police Kenya Volleyball Team.
The donation forms part of the Sacco’s ongoing CSR initiatives and highlights a shared commitment to promoting officer welfare, physical fitness, teamwork, and sports excellence within the Service.
The engagement underscored the importance of strategic partnerships between financial institutions and security agencies in nurturing talent, enhancing morale, and fostering holistic development among officers.
