Mau Mau War Veterans Appeal for Help to Bury Fallen Comrade.

The Mau Mau War Veterans Association has appealed to well-wishers and the public for financial assistance to help bury one of its members, the late General Njora Muronjo Kiambati, also known as General Njoro Muronjo Kiambati, from Ngorika in Nyandarua County.

According to the association’s Director, James Mahuria, the deceased was a distinguished freedom fighter who played a significant role in Kenya’s struggle for independence.

“He was among the brave patriots who took up arms against British colonial rule in the 1950s and endured detention, displacement, and immense hardship in pursuit of freedom for our nation,” said Mahuria.

Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Mombasa Branch Chairman Ahmed Alamin Abdalla alias Alamin Abdallah led the sports administration within the county to give President William Ruto a thumbs up for the bold step he has taken to ensure Mombasa stadium gets a new facelift.

The government has set aside Sh 1 billion for the completion of the stalled 15,000-seater sports facility.

The FKF Mombasa branch chairman said the stalled facility has nurtured veteran sports men and women in the coast region.

The Busia Trailer Park, a strategic facility meant to anchor cross-border trade between Kenya and Uganda, is steadily taking shape, even as it remains under investigation over questions of transparency in its procurement process.

County officials confirm that while inquiries continue, construction has not stalled, with the county government insisting the project will be delivered for the greater economic and social good of Busia residents.

Once complete, the trailer park is expected to ease congestion at the border, streamline cargo handling, and improve turnaround time for hundreds of trucks that pass through Busia daily.
