Notorious Phone Hacker Arrested in Eldoret

Police officers from Eldoret Police Station,UasinGishu county have arrested a man believed to be a notorious phone hacker.

The arrest according to police followed a targeted operation in Turbo.

The suspect, identified as Peter Arisi was apprehended in the evening after intelligence led investigations.

Police say the suspect had previously escaped a police dragnet at the Petrisha area within Eldoret Central Business District before relocating his criminal activities to his residence in Kimumu area.

During the arrest, officers recovered several items suspected to have been used in phone hacking and related criminal activities.

The recoveries include 13 assorted mobile phones suspected to be stolen, five HP laptops equipped with phone flashing tools, and a latest version of F64 Ultra flashing software.

He was placed in custody at Eldoret Police Station, where by press time he was being held as a person under investigation (PUI).

Further investigations are ongoing to establish the full scope of his activities and possible accomplices.
