DNK International Caravan of Hope, a grassroots driven humanitarian initiative mobilizing donations to deliver food and essential supplies to the drought affected communities led by civil rights activist Francis Awino toured Kajiado county on Saturday during the Valentines day and donated foodstuff and flowers of “love” to mark the day.
“We are planning subsequent caravans in all the 23 affected counties, as a mitigation initiative before the government steps and does its part,”said Awino.
They appealed to all Kenyans of goodwill to join them in the noble initiative as they head to Kitui next week.
