Hotel Proprietor Arrested After Allegedly Burning Worker With Hot Oil at Wilson Airport Area

Police at Wilson Airport Police Station are investigating a serious assault incident in which a 26 year old female worker was allegedly attacked by her employer following a dispute over unpaid wages within the Wilson Airport precinct.

According to police the matter was reported by Daisy Chelangat,a resident of Lang’ata South.

The complainant told officers that her employer, Sabina Mutinda, the proprietor of Sabina Hotel located within the Wilson Airport PSY area assaulted her during an argument over salary payment.

Police who rushed to the scene established that the disagreement escalated, during which the suspect allegedly poured hot cooking oil onto the complainant’s face, causing serious injuries.

The victim was immediately rushed to Mbagathi Hospital where she received emergency medical attention as investigations commenced.

The accused was arrested at the scene and detained at the station pending further police action.
