Felix Njenga Wanderi, popularly known as Njenga Reporter, a journalist by profession with over 20 years experience in the realm has officially announced his intention to contest for the Kiambu Township Ward Member of County Assembly (MCA) seat on a Jubilee Party ticket.
Njenga has expressed gratitude to voters for their support during the 2022 General Elections, where he first vied for the seat.
“In 2022, I stood before you green and unfamiliar with the dynamics of politics, yet you came out in large numbers and cast your votes for me. Though the votes were not enough to secure victory, the experience ignited in me a greater passion to serve,” he said.
Njenga told DNK-International that the previous campaign provided valuable lessons and strengthened his resolve to champion the interests of Kiambu Township residents.
He pledged to offer focused, transparent and accountable leadership if elected to the Kiambu County Assembly.
Citing his background in reporting legislative proceedings, Njenga said he understands the Standing Orders and operations of the assembly.
“My experience covering legislative matters has equipped me with the knowledge and insight needed to represent you effectively from day one,” he stated.
He called upon voters to grant him another opportunity to demonstrate what true representation means for the people of Kiambu Township Ward.
