Waiting on the Lord is not passive resignation but active faith

Pastor Vincent Roy Agoya.

Verse of the Day-Psalm 40:1 – “I waited patiently for the Lord; he turned to me and heard my cry.”

Waiting on the Lord is not passive resignation but active faith.
The psalmist testifies that patience in God’s presence invites divine attention. When we cry out to Him in sincerity, He does not ignore us—He turns toward us. This verse reminds believers that God hears every prayer, every groan, and every whispered plea. Even when answers delay, heaven is attentive. The God who hears is also the God who responds in His perfect time.
Wait on the Lord with faith today. Lift your prayers to Him, trusting that He hears your cry and will respond with His mercy and power.
