Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) politician from Mombasa county Said Abdalla alias ‘Saido’ has asked leaders to collaborate closely with religious leaders to ensure youths embrace various religious teaching to protect them from anti-religious teaching.
He said time has come for leaders to roll up their sleeves to ensure youths embrace religious teaching.

“At the moment youths are faced with numerous challenges,” he acknowledge.
Saido said whatever youths are currently doing will determine their future.
He was speaking during the annual Qur’an Competition hosted by Said Foundation held at the famous Sheikh Zayed hall in Nyali constituency within Mombasa County.
The local politician told journalists alongside the competitors that time has come for leaders to ensure youths embrace religious teaching to enable them become good leaders in the near future.

Saido who is a businessman from the county said religious teaching is the only tool that can spur youths into leadership positions in the coming years.
He said that’s why during this year’s holy month of Ramadhan he has come up with recitation of the Qur’an competition.
“The two day event marks the importance of the holy month of Ramadhan,” he pointed out.
The competition chairman who is also the imam of Masjid Mosque said only the book of Qur’an is the most respected during the month of Ramadhan.
He disclosed that over 30 Qur’an schools known as madrassa took part in the two day competition.
“Over 50 students took part,” he disclosed.
