The activist reportedly went missing on Thursday night from his home in Kiletein Village, an area within Angata Barrikoi.

His disappearance has sparked concern, fear, and widespread speculation among the local community.

According to residents, Johana Kamilan was last seen at his residence on Thursday evening before he mysteriously vanished later that night.

Since then, his family, friends, and fellow activists have been unable to establish his whereabouts.

The lack of clear information about what happened to him has raised alarm among the people of Angata Barrikoi, many of whom believe that authorities should provide an explanation.

In response to the incident, large groups of residents and activists organized demonstrations in the area, calling on government officials to clarify the situation.

Protesters demanded that local leaders, including area chiefs and other government representatives, provide truthful information about the disappearance.

They insisted that if Kamilan is in the custody of any security agency, the authorities should openly confirm it.

The demonstrators emphasized that their main demand is transparency and adherence to the rule of law.

They called upon the government to reveal where Kamilan is being held and ensure that he is produced in court if he has been arrested.

Many residents stressed that every citizen has the right to due process and that any arrest should follow the legal procedures established by law.
