Bungoma Governor Kenneth Lusaka has urged President William Ruto to fast-track the completion of key infrastructure projects in the county, even as he rallied residents to support the President’s re-election bid in 2027.
Speaking on Wednesday during the launch of the Kimilili Huduma Centre, an event presided over by the President on the second day of his development tour of Bungoma County, Lusaka praised the national government for implementing transformative projects across various sectors.

However, the governor called for the expedited completion of major road projects, including the Kimilili–Bokoli and Misikhu–Brigadier roads, citing their importance in improving connectivity and facilitating the movement of people and goods.
Lusaka also expressed confidence in President Ruto’s leadership, noting that the ongoing development initiatives across the country have strengthened his chances of securing a second term.

“With the visible development across the country, the people will undoubtedly reward you with re-election in 2027,” he said.
