DNK International A K24 journalist, George Njoroge, was allegedly attacked by Joram Wataka, a man reported to be an aide to Trans Nzoia Senator Allan Chesang.
According to journalists at the scene, Njoroge’s “offence” was sharing a story that had already been published by the Standard Group.
Kenya Union of Journalists (KUJ) Secretary General Eric Oduor has condemned the incident and called for the arrest and prosecution of those responsible.
