“He sent out his word and healed them; he rescued them from the grave.” — Psalm 107:20

By Pastor Vincent Roy Agoya

There is an incredible authority in a word that is “sent.” In this Psalm, the people had reached their limit, exhausted by their own wandering and distress.

Yet, God didn’t just send a feeling or a vague sense of comfort; He sent His Word.

In our own lives, when we face “the grave”—whether that’s a dying dream, a broken relationship, or an overwhelming mental burden—the Word of God acts as a rescue mission.

It doesn’t just describe our situation; it actively changes it.

This “Sent Word” is a mandate of restoration. It carries the power to mend what is fractured and pull us out of the pits we cannot escape on our own.

Today, whatever area feels depleted, remember that God’s Word is still in motion.

It is a sharp, effective tool designed to bring life where there was only silence.
