When High Priest Jehoiada restored true worship in Judah, he didn’t just rebuild the altar; he posted gatekeepers. Holiness required protection. The temple’s purity depended on who and what was allowed through its entryways.
Scripture calls your heart the modern sanctuary of the Holy Spirit. Yet, we frequently leave our inner gates completely unguarded. We let toxic thoughts, subtle compromises, bitterness, and destructive influences wander freely into our minds, wondering later why our spiritual life feels contaminated and drained.
Your soul requires vigilant gatekeepers. Guard your eyes, ears, and mind with intentionality. Be selective about the media you consume, the conversations you indulge, and the attitudes you harbour.
Protect the sacred space where God dwells, allowing only what honours Him to pass through the gates today.
