Burial of Senior Police Officer Lazarus Opicho set for Friday

All is set for the burial of the late Senior Assistant Inspector General of Police, Lazarus Simiyu Opicho.

The burial will be held tomorrow (Friday) at his family home in Wehoya Village, Sirende Location, Kiminini Constituency, Trans Nzoia County.

Opicho’s body was flown to Kitale on Wednesday ahead of the burial ceremony, which is expected to attract a large number of mourners, including family members, friends, colleagues and other leaders.

Until his death he was the commandant of Security of Government Buildings and VIP Protection.
