County Commissioner Inspects South B Development Projects

Nairobi North Sub-Region County Commissioner Simon Osumba has inspected major development projects in South B to assess progress and ensure timely completion.

Osumba toured a six room Chief’s Office in Mariguini funded through NG-CDF, the ongoing Affordable Housing Project, the South B Economic Stimulus Programme (ESP) Market and a ten-classroom block at Highway Secondary School.

The ESP Market is about 90 per cent complete and is expected to provide improved trading facilities for local businesses once operational.

At Highway Secondary School, the Commissioner inspected classrooms being constructed through a Corporate Social Responsibility programme by Makongeni Affordable Housing.

Osumba emphasised the need for timely completion and adherence to construction standards, noting that the projects will improve access to government services, housing, education and business infrastructure for South B residents.
