DNK International Journalists attending the burial of veteran journalist Musa Radoli at Kisoko in Nambale, Busia County, on Saturday called for the establishment of a Musa Radoli ICT Hub in honour of the fallen journalist.
The journalists, led by among others, Ken Bosire, Oloo Janak and Oscar Obonyo, said the proposed ICT hub would preserve Radoli’s legacy while providing young people with opportunities to acquire digital and journalism skills.
Busia County Executive Committee Member for Water, Peter Odima, said he would present the proposal to the county government for consideration.
The journalists later travelled 43 kilometres to attend the burial of another journalist, Noel Wandera.
The two burials brought together members of the media fraternity, who paid tribute to the journalists and celebrated their contributions to the profession and their communities.
