A passenger who caused a disturbance at Kisumu International Airport has been released following an apology and assurance of good conduct.
According to a follow-up report from the Kenya Airports Police Unit based at Kisumu Airport Police Station,Eubert Munywere Espira was today at around 11:30 a.m., freed by a multi-agency security team after expressing remorse over his misconduct the previous day.
Officials stated that the team deliberated on the matter and resolved to grant him clearance to proceed with his journey to Nairobi.
The decision was reached after Espira pledged not to repeat the behavior that had earlier led to his offloading.
