Police officers in Embakasi,Nairobi have arrested a man after he was found concealing what appeared to be a firearm, only for officers to later discover it was a plastic toy imitation incapable of firing.
Police at Villa Police Station today evening led by the duty officer acting on information from members of the public about a suspicious man carrying what resembled a gun within the area rushed to the scene and, after conducting surveillance, spotted the suspect before swiftly moving in to arrest him.
The suspect was identified as Stanley Ochieng.
A search conducted on him led to the recovery of a toy plastic imitation firearm that police confirmed could not fire.
He was subsequently escorted to Villa Police Station for further profiling and questioning as investigations continue.
