A 62 year-old retired Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) officer has been arrested in Kisauni, Mombasa County, over allegations of committing an unnatural offence against a minor.
According to a police report recorded at Mjambere Police Station yesterday night,officers arrested the businessman, at the Bakarani area within Kisauni.
Police said the suspect was apprehended during an operation conducted where the officers also rescued the victim, a Grade Six pupil at Junda Primary School, whose identity has been withheld for protection reasons because the victim is a minor aged 12 years old.
The suspect is expected to face charges related to the alleged offence when he is arraigned in court on Monday.
